Yangbo Du

A former academic turned entrepreneur, Yangbo Du has been active in various capacities related to sustainability and sustainable development since the mid-noughts, including energy and environmental policy research, tech and social entrepreneurship, and impact finance with a focus on climate-smart infrastructure project preparation. An urbanist at heart since growing up amid the North American Suburban Experiment during its peak years, he facilitates mixing, matching, and adapting best-in-class international practices in urbanism to local and regional contexts across the States and beyond.
Outside of PLACE Initiative yet nonetheless adjacent to it, he serves as a managing partner with INNOVO Net Zero on zero-carbon supply chaining and head of outreach with Effective Transit Alliance on integrating transport and land use planning.
